“If you can change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?” Have you ever been asked this question before? I have, and the answer was always the same: I wish that I wasn’t in so much pain whenever I was eating ice cream.
It started when I was young. I didn’t tell my parents about it in fear that they might scold me for not brushing my teeth right.
Besides, it only happens when I’m eating ice cream. No big deal, right?
It was. The pain slowly took my appetite away. I knew I was in trouble when I felt the familiar jolt while eating out with friends. That’s when I knew that I needed to get help.
Apparently, the solution was pretty simple: to change toothpaste brands. Turns out, I have really sensitive teeth. I can’t tell you how many tubes I’ve gone through just to get the right one.
If only I was aware that there are companies that give out free samples back then. It would have saved me from all the pain I endured while patiently using up one brand after another. Not to mention that my trial-and-error process cost me quite a bit as well.
Why Are Companies Offering Free Toothpaste Samples?
Toothpaste companies understand that toothbrushing is actually a very personal experience. We all have our own dental needs and preferences. This is also why there’s always room for a new toothpaste brand.
They also know that we tend to stay loyal to our favorite toothpaste brand and variant for life. Aside from that, consumers are more likely to try out new variants by their favorite brand as opposed to those by others.
Hence, it’s not really much of a shocker that a lot of companies are willing to invest in giving out free samples.
Where To Find Free Toothpaste Samples
You can always ask your dentist if they have a sample available. Reputable sampling aggregators like Goodie Box and Hometester Club are among your options too. But just in case they don’t have the particular brand that you want to try, below are six other sources that you can check out.

Colgate is definitely one of the biggest brands in the toothpaste industry already, yet it never tires of innovating new products. What I love best about the brand, though, is their willingness to share new samples with us whenever they’re available.

Colgate, GSK, these names are nothing new. How about sampling a fresh brand like Hello? They specialize in developing personal grooming products that are eco-friendly and made with natural ingredients.
These include deodorants, skin care products, and yes, even toothpaste. You can get a sample of their products after signing up for their online community. Just click on “Join” on their registration page to get started.

Crest
Crest is one of the brands under the oral health product lineup of Procter & Gamble. Fun fact: So is Oral-B. But here’s something that might interest you even more: those who sign-up to join P&G’s DentalCare program get a free tube of Crest toothpaste.
Meanwhile, dental professionals who wish to receive free samples may send an email request to crestoralbpro.im@pg.com.
The only downside is, P&G didn’t clearly indicate sampling offers on their sign-up page. The information I am sharing with you comes from reputable sampling aggregators and customer testimonials.

Marvis ToothpasteÂ
How about tasting something new? Marvis is a toothpaste brand known for its unique toothpaste flavors.

Based on my research, though, you can request product samples by sending them a message through their website’s contact form. You may also request a sample by giving them a call or even sending them a request through the mail.

Stan’s Gigs
I know how embarrassing it can sometimes feel to request a sample, especially if the company didn’t explicitly indicate it on their website. Don’t worry, you won’t need to go through that stress when getting samples from Stan’s Gigs.
