How To Get Free Baby Samples

I still remember the day when my sister first told me that I was to become an uncle. It was both exhilarating and daunting at the same time.

I recall how cheesy my initial thoughts were: on how scared I was at the thought of my sister, the baby of the family, giving birth; on how excited I was to see what the baby looked like.

Good thing she doesn’t read my blog, or I’ll never hear the end of it. None of us fully realized the responsibility back then. No, that came later when the expenses started coming in.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my nephew. But man, that little guy goes through products like a hurricane.

To make matters worse, his skin was highly sensitive. You can’t imagine how many packs of diapers, wipes, and other grooming essentials we’ve wasted just to find the brands that work.

As the first baby in the family, we didn’t really have anyone to give tested products to. We had no choice but to use some of the products ourselves and throw the rest away.

Having the opportunity to get free samples and learn how to get free baby samples would have prevented me from smelling like a newborn due to my seemingly limitless stash of baby powder.

Why Companies Give Out Free Baby Samples

Baby product companies understand that babies and their parents are picky. Each family has its own needs and preferences. That’s why there’s always an abundance of brands to choose from.

These companies are also aware that parents find it difficult to switch after their babies have gotten used to certain brands. They are also more likely to purchase it for their next little ones later on. Hence, it’s no surprise that most companies are willing to invest in giving samples away.

Where To Find Free Baby Samples

More companies are willing to give away samples than you might think. The challenge lies in finding them.

You can start by checking out sampling aggregators like Sampler.io, Goodiebox, and Hometester Club. You can also visit my newest samples page. I constantly update it with the latest available samples, including baby products.

In the meantime, below are seven baby companies that send out free samples. I have made sure to cover a variety of product types.

After all, a baby can’t live on diapers and formula alone. There are enough baby product categories out there to make a parent’s head spin.

1. Your Baby Club

No list about free baby samples will ever be complete without mentioning Your Baby Club. It is a platform specifically dedicated to bringing samples, discounts, and other special offers closer to moms.

We are talking high-quality freebies coming from the most reputable brands. All you need to do is sign-up and become a member of their club.

For instance, your initial gift can include $400 worth of Enfamil products, a buybuyBaby Goody bag, an Amazon Baby Welcome Box, a breast pump, children’s books, and a child safety kit一all for free.

Expect these brands to reach out to you from time to time, though, to get your opinion of their products. It’s Your Baby Club’s way of offering these companies something in return.

Pros:

  • Reputable brands
  • Wide range of free samples
  • Easy sign-up process

Con:

  • Brands might contact you for market research in the future

2. Enfamil

Choosing your baby’s formula is a big decision you shouldn’t make in haste. After all, your choice must meet the specific needs and preferences of your little one. Thus, Enfamil offers a wide range of products to choose from.

For instance, they have the NeuroPro Gentlease specifically formulated to reduce fussiness, gas, spit-up. They also have Enspire that seeks to provide the same level of nutrition as breast milk.

The question is, which one should you choose? Fortunately, Enfamil is one of those companies that offer free samples of their products.

All you need to do is to sign up for their Enfamil Family Beginnings program. Doing so will also entitle you to other offers, such as a chance to win a one-year supply of your preferred Enfamil product and exclusive discounts from their partner brands.

Pros:

  • Well-known brand
  • Samples are always available
  • Easy sign-up process

Con:

  • No other formula brand beyond Enfamil

3. Dove

Dove is a company of bath and grooming products that need no further introduction. What you might not know, though, is that they launched a new line of products fairly recently, in 2017.

Baby Dove seeks to cater to the specific needs of a baby’s skin. This collection includes soaps, moisturizers, and wipes.

Signing up for their newsletter will entitle you to receive their latest product updates, including free samples now and then. You can also opt to get updated with other Unilever products, such as Dove, Dove Men+Care, and Dove Kids Care.

Pros:

  • Well-known brand
  • Easy sign-up process
  • Other product lines included

Cons:

  • Samples are subject to availability
  • No specific information about freebies given

4. Exederm

Babies sometimes need more specialized skin products aside from the usual bathing and grooming stuff, especially those with extra sensitive skin. My nephew surely did during the first few months of his life, so I simply can’t leave Exederm out of this list.

They are a skincare brand that formulates products without harmful chemicals such as parabens, phthalates, lanolin, and more. The premium quality of their products is quite impressive. They have even received The Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association.

You can give their brand a try by filling out a simple form on their website. They only ship within the USA, though, and their samples are limited to one per household.

Pros:

  • Premium quality products
  • Easy sign-up process
  • Multiple products available

Cons:

  • There is a waiting list
  • Samples take one to two months to arrive

5. Gerber

Here’s another well-known brand of baby products. Founded in 1927, even my mother was a Gerber baby once. My sister and I were Gerber babies, and no surprise here, my nephew too.

Unsure if their products will suit your little one’s discerning palate? Then you can sign up for their MyGerber Baby program to become eligible to receive their samples.

You will also gain access to MyGerber baby experts via webchat, SMS, and other online communication channels.

The only downside? They don’t provide any information on the samples you can expect to receive. Existing members report receiving various stuff, from full-sized samples of their formulas and baby food to baby clothing.

Pros:

  • Well-known brand
  • Easy sign-up process
  • Other perks included

Con:

  • No specific information about freebies given

6. Bambo Nature

If there’s one product that babies can go through like nobody’s business, that would be diapers. Did you know that an average baby goes through 2000 to 2500 diapers in their first year alone?

The problem is, the wrong choice could lead to much discomfort and waste of money. That’s why I really take diaper samples seriously.

Fortunately, a lot of diaper brands offer free samples now. Among my favorite brands is Bambo Nature.

They offer diapers that are free of chemicals and all known allergens. Their products are eco-friendly, too, so you won’t have to worry about contributing to global warming.

Their free samples are quite discreet, though. They don’t have a form published on their website like the other companies we’ve featured above. Instead, you need to contact their customer service team to get your samples sent through the mail.

Pros:

  • Eco-friendly
  • Premium quality products

Con:

  • Requires a direct request

7. Stan’s Gigs

Finally, you can also check out my website for more baby samples beyond the brands I have already featured above. I have a collection of free baby products exclusively available for all the patrons who have signed up for the Stan’s Gigs newsletter.

In this way, you won’t have to go hunting online for freebies anymore. I try my best to make it an all-in-one samples hub featuring various manufacturers and brands to choose from. I have also ensured that it has a wide range of product types to choose from: diapers, baby food, infant formula, bathing products, and more.

Pros:

  • First dibs on samples
  • Constantly updated freebies
  • Newsletter available to receive offer updates

Con:

  • Availability may vary according to current brand offers

How To Get Free Baby Samples: Final Words

Let’s face it. The industry of baby products thrives because parents will always want the best for their kids. That is even if that means investing a ridiculous amount of effort and resources in trying out numerous products and brands.

It need not be costly and wasteful, though. There are numerous ways to get samples for free and in sizes that minimize wastage.

Sadly, I wasn’t able to share this opportunity with my sister when my nephew was born. Hence, I’m passing on this wisdom to new parents instead. By the way, please don’t hesitate to share your experience in the comments below if you ever try signing up for the companies we’ve featured above. Don’t forget to sign up for my newsletter and stay updated on the latest samples and related offers.
