Probe Market Research (or PMR) is a New York-based market research firm that seeks to connect brands with consumers.
These consumers can be existing customers, potential customers, non-customers, and loyal fans. They can also come from various demographics and ethnicities.
Unfortunately, Probe Market Research is still limited to a nationwide recruitment scheme.
Hence, only interested respondents from the U.S. are eligible to join their community.

If there’s one thing I want you to learn from this quick review, it’s this: always check whether a market research company is a scam or not.
Otherwise, you’ll be wasting time and effort and will not get paid. Hence, I have done my due diligence to research PMR thoroughly.
The first thing I always check is posted reviews. I must say, PMR didn’t disappoint.
While they are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau, they do have an impressive rating of A+.
They’re not on TrustPilot, but they had 100 client reviews on Yelp and currently have four out of five stars.
Digging deeper, I also went through PMR reviews posted by fellow bloggers within the community. They received a lot of positive reviews as well, with minimal complaints.
What I’ve found posted about them online was more than enough to convince me that they are a legitimate company.
However, there’s only one way to know for sure. This was when I promptly signed up for PMR.
How Does Probe Market Research Work?
Let me share how PMR works based on my experience from the moment I signed up to the point that I enjoyed my first compensation.
Step 1: Sign-up for Membership
You can do this by clicking “Sign-Up Now” on their website. You may also click on their main page graphic that says, “Get paid…to tell us what you think!”.
A small pop-up window will appear that will also contain the same sign-up link. Clicking on it will take you to another page. It will contain a form that you have to complete.
Aside from your basic personal information, it will ask about other details such as whether you own a business or not, your pets, languages spoken, and existing medical conditions, among other things.
Just click on “Register” to submit your application form.
Step 2: Wait for Your email Invite
It is crucial to answer the sign-up form truthfully so that PMR can send studies that match you more accurately.
These studies can be surveys, focus groups, and other research projects.
Step 3: Participate in a Study
As we have mentioned, the research studies you can participate in may vary. For instance, my first project with them was a phone interview I completed in less than an hour.
It was a fun call that included a question-and-answer portion (like a survey) and a more free-flowing conversation where the researcher further fleshed out my opinions.
The best part is I received my incentive immediately.
